Hello From England

Hello...I am now in my new house somewhere in the country. Yes I am officially an Englander...or whatever they say. I am far from London, at least 30min to 1 hour depending on what train I take. This at first was hard for be to wrap my head around as I have always been a city girl, and of course being a pop recording artist and actress, I  thrive off the big city. My life today as a wife, mother and of course still an entertainer, definitely has it's challenges. I made the choice to commit myself to someone, to look after another life, and it was the best and scariest decision I have ever made. Nothing can prepare you for motherhood. I ran my own household for years but never for others. Now not only do I have to take care of my family, I still need to be the pop diva I am, get my a** out there and make a name for myself. Living in the country is perfect for my son; it's safe, quiet, friendly, and has great schools. My husband works near by so this is also why the location works for us. The people are very friendly; even the mail man has a key to the side of our house so he can leave parcels if we are not home. So far I love the area we live in, and I look forward to becoming involved in the community. London though is a calling and I know this is where the future for my career awaits me. Tomorrow I am going into London for an interview for this Modelling thing, which I was scheduled for last week, but missed it as I was a half hour late trying to drag my son up and down stairs, in his push chair, because London is still living in the 19th century. They don't have elevators in most of their train stations...heller...terrible. What about the people in wheelchairs?  Needless to say, they rescheduled my appointment, and now I have child care, so no excuses if I miss tomorrow. Although I do have 2 very red eyes due to this flu I have been fighting. Another downer about the Uk is that you get colds a lot, or at least I do :( Anyway, I hope they see beyond the red eyes tomorrow and more at my not so Kardashian derrière.

I hope this post has made you laugh and maybe move to England or not. This is just the beginning people. My journey is about to get very interesting.

Love from somewhere in the country in England.
